Quinto día de Campeonato, los jóvenes sacan la cara en ACC
Una mañana algo calmada pero que con el pasar de las horas mejoró en técnica y emoción tuvo la ex isla el alacrán durante la segunda jornada de competencia, todavía la ola no está en su máximo potencial pero ya se aprecia una competencia ardua y emocionante.

Alrededor de 800 personas dijeron presente en el evento que culminó a eso de las 13:00 horas debido al viento, el gran invitado de piedra del ACC.
Mucha acción de los riders jóvenes como Tom Rigby que entregó una performance de muy alta calidad ganando su manga con 15.50 puntos y obteniendo muchos aplausos seguido del el chileno Matías Muniz con 14.6 puntos en una de las mangas más emocionantes de la jornada.
La competencia culminó con la 4 manga del round 4 ganada por Gregory Wuoters de Aruba con un excelente puntaje de 16 seguido del brasileño Bruno Rocha que remató con 11.33.Luego de esto la jornada continuó con una entrega de camisetas para el personal y competidores acompañado de una excelente música.
El tercer día de competencia, inicia a las 8 de la mañana con la quinta manga del round cuatro donde destacan el norteamericano Jeison Bitzer y Thiago Abul de Brasil.

Day 5 (Round 2,3 and half of 4)
The competition was fierce today as the Arican Chilean Challenge narrowed down it’s field. The conditions started off similar to the day prior but improved with the dropping tide as the morning turned to mid day. Scristobal Sciaraffia (Chile) started the day with a well with a round 2 win followed by Gregory Wouters (Aruba) who was surfing well.
Tables had turned heading into round three with some big name heat knock outs. Heat 1 rd 3 saw Luis Fung (Peru) put on a solid performance winning with Eduardo Capinello placing second. Tomas Rigby (Aus) was on fire using barrel to roll and double roll combos to win heat 2, he was follow by Matuis Muniz. Alexandre Widtman (Chile) once again progressed with a win over Gregory Wouters who progressed in second (Aruba).
Heat 3 Rouad 3 saw Bruno Rocha (Brazil) win his heat with Puerto Ricos Jorge Colomer sneaking into second place in the dying moments of the heat with a solid barrel. Igor Sanchez (Canarias) won over Renato Arelano (CHL) placing second narrowly beating Hawaiian Jacob Romero with a set wave roll even though he was interfered with by the competitor in Black (drop in). Boris Villalobos surfed well in heat 6 winning his heat to a Jason Bitzer who had a good opening wave which was enough to help him progress. Another Hawaiian (Timothy Hamilton) went down to Peru’s Jorge Saavedra and Alan Munoz ( Chile/heat winner) leaving only Dave and Jeff Hubbard left to defend the islands. Helliton Loureiro (Brazil) won the final heat of round 3 over David Mantellini (Venezual) who also progressed.
Round 4 was stopped after heat 4 due to the afternoon onshore conditions but the action did not stop prior to this. Heat 1 would have seen David Phillips from Hawaii due battle with Matis Muniz ( Chile/Winner ) and heat runner up Angelo Freda (Venezula). Diego Furiatti won the second heat of round four with Tomas Rigby once again progressing, with both riders heading into round 5.
